What can be analyzed with MimicScan?

The software has been developed for analysis and measurement of brow mobility before and after the treatment with botulinum toxin.

What are the hardware requirements?

  • Standard Windows® PC (Windows 98SE of higher)
  • 800x600 pixels screen resolution
  • Intel® Pentium II processor with 266 MHz or faster
  • 64 MB RAM or more

Can I use my images for the analysis?

Very important is a good perceptibility of the eyes and brows. Standardized illumination is required!

If your are uncertain about the acceptability of your images for the analysis, please send some images per email to DatInf GmbH. We will check the images with no cost for you.

Which image formats are supported?

The current software version supports

  • BMP (Windows/OS2 Bitmap)
  • JPG (JPEG)
  • PNG (Portable Network Graphic)
  • TIF (Tagged Image File Format)
  • DICOM (on request)

Is MimicScan ailable in other languages?

The software is currently availabe in English and German. Adaptation to other languages can be done by translating one text file into the required language.
